New Mills, New Brunswick born and Halifax, Nova Scotia based, Lisa Richard is at home in front of an audience with her guitar. Whether she is performing at a community fundraiser to showcasing at the East Coast Music awards or sharing the stage with Vince Gill and the Time Jumpers, Richard captivates listeners with her powerful vocal range, inspiring story and true passion for music and life. Her vocal stylings have been compared to the likes of Cher, Wynonna Judd and Tracy Chapman. Richard’s genre extends across folk, country, pop and rock; she’s performed for audiences across North America and Europe.
Richard’s latest single, Whiskey Over Me, explores the feeling of being second choice in a relationship. Lisa has showcased on a local, national and international scale including at the East Coast Music Awards, Nova Scotia Music Week, Stan Rogers Folk Festival, NewSkool Rules (Netherlands), the Canadian Country Music Awards and Cavendish Beach Music Festival. In 2025, Lisa showcased at Your Roots Are Showing (Ireland).
